guadalupe river in kerrville. people were just floating along the river in inner tubes. i felt like i was in some small town in texas...or something.
rudy's. best bbq of my life. and it was in a gas station. totally awesome. we had brisket, jalapeno sausage, turkey, baked beans, new potatoes and real creamed corn. corn. with cream in it. amazing. also, the bbq sauce. oh the bbq sauce. if possible, i would go there right now and drink it straight from the bottle. they give you onions, pickets and sliced, white bread...which sounds weird. and it is. but then you put your brisket on the bread with some pickles and onions and dip the whole thing in bbq sauce and then you eat it. and die. insane.
